Welcome to the website
dedicated to 2004 US Olympic team member Courtney McCool. Since becoming an elite gymnast in 2002, Courtney
established herself as one of the best gymnasts in the
world. In her first year as a senior gymnast, Courtney was the
runner-up at the 2004 American Cup and the all-around champion
at the 2004 Olympic Test Event. Courtney achieved her ultimate
goal in gymnastics by finishing second all-around at the 2004 US
Olympic Trials and earning a spot on the US Olympic Team! In
Athens, she and her teammates made history by winning a silver
medal in the team competition - the
second highest finish for the US in a fully attended Olympic Games!
Courtney also submitted her original beam mount to the Code of Points. It
has been given a "D" rating and officially named the
McCool! We hope you enjoy the website and please be sure to sign the
guestbook
before you leave.
